Lost My Train of Thought… Found a Blog Post Instead

This is me. I’m not sure what to talk about. Hello!! I still don’t know what to say, give me a second to think… nah I lost it!

Hello Jackets! It’s me, Landon Bryson, writing to you with so many different topics to talk about, despite what I just said in the paragraph above. Read with caution, there might be some spelling mistakes.

Homecoming is next week. Each day is different for the students. Student Council members have to participate, and verification of this participation will be required by uploading a picture of the outfit that you wear each day to Google Classroom. There is also a homecoming dance on October 4, next Saturday. Bring someone and pretend to like them for a few hours, it really isn’t that hard. 

On a completely different note, I need your help! I’m not sure what to be for Halloween. I can’t come up with anything and I don’t wanna rely on my friends because sometimes they’re not very smart you know? Leave a comment on this blog post and tell me what/who you think I should be. Last year I was a sighted person, but it doesn’t need to have anything to do with blindness. I just need suggestions.

Do you guys ever think that blind people can’t do sports? Well if you do, change your thought process because you’re wrong. I’ve done blind soccer, which is basically like regular soccer except there’s a ball with bells in it and everyone wears a blindfold. It was fun, but it was also in Charlotte, and there aren’t enough blind people in Lancaster to attempt a blind sport.

So, here are the facts. One, I kind of want to try another sport. Two, everyone in my house at some point played a sport. Three, I just read this super good book about a blind girl called “Not If I See You First” (The name is funny, you can laugh). Anyways, with all of these facts in mind, I have decided that I might do track in the spring. I know almost nothing about it but I’m going to figure it out as I go and just see if I like it. Wish me luck!
